What Are The Styles Of The Sink?

2026-01-15

Single-basin structure: A single sink structure, some single-basin products, when equipped with shelves and draining baskets, can serve as both a single and a double basin.

Advantages and disadvantages: Equipped with a cutting board on a single sink, it allows for direct vegetable washing and cutting on the sink, saving time, effort, and space; however, with only one basin, items cannot be cleaned separately.

Scope of application: Suitable for use on Type I and Type L cabinets, typically in kitchens with limited space.

Double-tank structure: A structure consisting of two water tanks, typically one larger and one smaller.

Advantages and disadvantages: When washing vegetables, you can soak and wash them at the same time, and sometimes there are accessories for draining water, which saves time and facilitates the separation of different types of tableware; however, some large items cannot be cleaned in the sink, and installing a sewer system is troublesome.

Scope of application: The most common sink styles, suitable for all cabinets.

Three-sink structure: A structure with three sinks, each of which is larger in size than an ordinary sink.

Advantages and disadvantages: Adding a small slot on the basis of the double slot allows cleaning and draining to proceed independently without affecting each other; however, it occupies a relatively large space.

Scope of application: It is more suitable for L-shaped and U-shaped cabinets in large spaces.

Circular groove structure: A circular sink, typically featuring a single groove.

Advantages and disadvantages: On the central island in the large kitchen, it is more convenient to wash round tableware, and the inner wall of the sink has no edges and corners, making it easier to clean; however, it is not very convenient to use in practice and takes up space in the kitchen.

Scope of application: With its exquisite appearance, it appears more lively in the kitchen compared to straight-edged and right-angled sinks, making it suitable for all kitchens.

Corner slot structure: The corner design allows for a variety of angles, offering a novel and elegant appearance.

Advantages and disadvantages: It is very convenient for washing dishes when cooking or occasionally washing hands during meals; however, it may make the room feel more cramped and increase the difficulty of cleaning.

Scope of application: If the countertop of the cabinet extends all the way to the bar counter, a corner slot can be placed, which is commonly used in island benches and open kitchens.

Winged sink structure: Typically, it consists of a single sink with a longer countertop extension on one side.

Advantages and disadvantages: It allows you to place washed food and tableware on the shelf to drain water, preventing water stains from wetting the countertop. However, due to the height difference with the countertop, water may accumulate at the drop point, and if the silicone becomes aged and damaged, it may leak through the gaps.
